WB Tower the Project
When WB Tower closed its doors for the last time in December of 2011, The Push Media Group led by Executive Director and Managing Partner, Sol Tucker, decided that it was going to partner with the City of Brunswick and CSX Transportation, to ensure that another part of railroad history did not disappear from the city.
Once sufficient funds are raised, WB Tower will be removed from the current location on CSX property to a location approximately .2 of a mile west to a new location on city property. Here WB Tower will serve as a reminder of the railroading history in the City of Brunswick, and become a tourism attraction for the future.
The project will not be complete without the gracious efforts of many personal and corporate donations. Each one of these donations, whether small or large, will make this WB Tower project a reality and a piece of the original B&O railroad will stand next to the same tracks that it has watched over since the early 1900's for many more years to come. |
